Cheap uncapped broadband service...?

Hello all

I'm currently on Wanadoo 512k uncapped (£17.99 p/m) and I'm looking for a new broadband ISP.

I still want uncapped but want a much faster speed (at least 2Mbp), so can anyone recommend a cheap ISP?

Cheers in advance!

Starting next month, Telewest's current 512k uncapped broadband at £17.99 a month becomes 2mb uncapped for the same price. If you happen to be in their area you might want to consider that.

Have you tried phoning Wanadoo and telling them you want to leave because they are no longer competitive? You might find they will upgrade you for the same price.

E7 current deal is £13 per month for 2M uncapped - you have to pay up front though! Also there is a £50 connection fee unless you pay for 2 years upfront (in which case it is waived).

It still works out cheaper than you are paying and is 4 times faster so a great deal.

Check out the e7 referrers thread for more info and details of how to save more money as several referrers split their referral bonus with you.

I've heard that e7 like to check out what your downloading though which isn't always a good thing...

I've also just read in another forum that Demon are offering 2Mbps uncapped at £19.99 p/m which sounds excellent!

Ok, after all that, I phoned Wanadoo to get my migration code and to keep me they offered me a free upgrade to 2Mbps, one month free service and no new 12 month contract so I can still leave if it's no good!
