Can anyone recommend a Nokia repair centre
Options
I have somehow managed to break my 2-month-old Nokia 5610. The raised plastic around the music slider switch is broken and the navigation keypad below it also has a small crack in it.
I emailed Nokia to see if it's possible to buy a new housing for the phone. They don't supply them and said I should take the phone to my local Nokia care point - very helpful advice since, according to their website, there isn't a Nokia care point in the whole of the UK!
I've looked on the 'net and found a few places offering repairs, but am wary of posting a rather expensive phone off to someone I've never heard of.
Can anyone recommend a repairer? Or know where I can get a new housing for the phone (I've looked on eBay, but for some reason none of the ones on there include the bit that I've broken!)

try ebay (e.g. http://phones.search.ebay.co.uk/5610_For-Nokia_W0QQcatrefZC6QQdfspZ32QQfclZ3QQfposZPostcodeQQfromZR2QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ32QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQga10244Z10425QQsabfmtsZ1QQsacatZ42429QQsadisZ200QQsaobfmtsZinsifQQsargnZQ2d1QQsaslcZ3QQsbrftogZ1QQsofocusZbs ) or check your local market mobile stall.0 -

I'd recommend these guys;
http://cgi3.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=motaphone_service_centre
I've used them a couple of times in the past to get new covers fitted, and they were very quick and efficient.0 -

There's a big list of Nokia service centres there, not sure how recent it is but it's worth a look.Sigless0 -
A Nokia Repair Centre is basically a large Carphone Warehouse store.
From The Carphone Warehouse website:
"At our Express Repair Centres, many faults can be fixed on site the same day. If your phone is sent to our central repair workshop by an Express Repair Centre or store, it could take up to 14 days. On the rare occasion that the repair is of a specialist nature, it will be sent on to the manufacturer.This could extend the repair time to up to 28 days. As the handset is not repaired by us we are not responsible for the amount of time it takes by the manufacturer."

Though to be honest as it seems you dropped the phone it may not be covered under warranty, I broke the screen on my Nokia N73 and was quoted £70 to fit a new screen! Quick look on eBay I found the screen for £20 and youtube videos on how to open the phone showed me how to change the screen.
Eventually I decided to change the whole housing of the phone after buying one on eBay for £10. Was a little on the tricky side but very do-able!SLC: £13000+
Quidco: £131.24 (paid) + £0 (validated) = £131.24
Valued Opinions: £75 (paid) + £52.30 (received) + £4.50 (pending) = £131.80
StudentPanel: £250
