Odeon cinema- not cheap!

Options
£7 pe ticket, then £3 for a goody bag (fruit drink, lanky popcorn, choc sweets), and £6 odd for a 'large' hotdog and drink combo.. the hotdog was lukewarm, they had no onions, and the large drink was so heavy i could hardly carry it- several trips to the loo meant i missed a lot of the film too.. probably not such a bad thing as what i did see (The Cottage) was pathetic!

the place had maybe a dozen customers, and the staff looked bored as hell.

Odeon- shame on you!

simple solution to the problem - don't pay it if you feel it is too expensive.

i enjoy the cinema, but I make it economical by having a Cineworld Unlimited card (£12 per month) and never ever buy food from the cinema.

And if your food was substandard then why didn't you complain, instead of putting a pointless post on the internet?
  • it wasa BIG cup (2 pints or so).. and no straw!

i found odeon do not handle complaints particularly well.

i wrote and complained after a bad experience where kids where running amok in the screening, chucking stuff everywhere, shouting out etc, and when i went to find a member of staff to sort them out there was no one to be found.

i really dont expect to have to put up with watching blown up condoms floating past the screen whilst im trying to watch a film so i emailed in a complaint, and a fortnight passed without an acknowledgement. i then wrote to head office. i eventually got a response via email asking me to email the branch manager, and about 6 weeks after the initial visit i was offered a free set of tickets as a good will gesture. i really didnt feel like the complaint was taken seriously, and the staffing problems have got worse not better.

 what a constructive post

im happy with the response i eventually got, i just think its a shame that odeon as a company has such scant regard for its customers. i think you were right to advise the OP to contact odeon regarding their complaint, but the OP should be under no illusions that they will get a speedy response

Problem is easy to fix OP. Read reviews e.g. Empire mag or online before you choose your movie. Take your own sweets.

There that's all your problems solved.
Don't grow up. Its a trap!

    Peace, love and labradors!
