true - but its too late next June when they will be £150+ again.
I am still pinning hope that global warming will kick in one day and do what its name suggest. These will be £699 then!!
And I did not buy one, I got something like it last year from Wickes for £149, mine is not as compact either.
I have never seen any portable one you could sleep with in the room easily - don't suppose this is any different, but if like me you work in a home office its bliss.

No didn't buy one - see my other post.
I use one to suck the heat out before bed by running a few hours, if you have a skylight it would be ideal to chuck the hose out. Once the sun has gone down its not so bad.

I bought one of these a month or so ago and to be honest,we've only used it a couple of times as the weather went downhill soon after I bought it!! (Typical
)
It does cool down rooms nicely but one thing it is quite noisy which to me isn't a problem because we switch it on before bed,cool the little fellas room down then ours so at least they're cool when trying to goto sleep.For less than a hundred quid you really can't go wrong though!!! (I paid £125 for mine brand new)
Good luck

I phoned up my local store and after them putting the phone down on me twice!! they said the only one they have is the one on show. They would not knock any money off though. I have ordered it online but might try another store tomorrow.0
