One of the companies in my signature should be able to help you with companies who are more organised, & at least the ones in my signature won't be charging you for the privilege. If this is the way they are at the start, what will they be like when you're handing over large amounts of money each month?
Luckily its a no payment upfront company, thats why i reckon they are not too hot on doing stuff, as they wont get a penny should the creditors not accept the proposal, we will see if OH accepts the proposal this week as one member of staff said minimum £200 a month payment, another said £280 yet the maximium surplus OH has with bare minimum alowances for expenditure is £240 and that gives her zero personal money and really isn't viable in my eyes.Life is like a game of Snakes & Ladders, i almost made it to the top but now i'm at the bottom again and its a very long ladder to the top. I had it all and now its gone

That's true, tf, but the 'fees' are usually hidden in the monthly payment, so that it looks as if the creditors are, in fact, paying. What actually happens, with some of the less reputable 'IVA factories' is that fees are taken before any money is paid over to creditors - that way, if the IVA 'fails' after, say, two years, the 'IVA' Company has already 'collected' their money.
This is one of the reasons that we always reccomend that anyone who is considering an IVA speaks, first, to one of the Debt Counselling Charities, who will put them in touch with a reputable Insolvency Practitioner.
Hope that makes sense.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
