ragtimeplayer you can use machine coupons that are for somebody else, i've done it a few times when my sister had a better total spend offer than i did, and also when there was a paper jam and the assistant handed me the massive wodge of coupons that had been printed. only a couple of them were mine and included in the others were vouchers for free products (such as tampons) that i have never been offered by the machine.

Hi all, went to the Canterbury store today and they had Toni and Guy products with money off rather than the 2 for £7, is this the same in every store??? i assume from the posts above that other people have managed to purchase two products for £7 today??? Trevor Sorbie was on 2 for £7 instead.
    thanks

    Hi,

I went to the Swindon west store and they had a 1/3rd off instead of 2 for 7, which is a smaller store but went to a larger store in town and they had 2 for 7 so its not in all stores...strange really..not sure when this offer runs out tho

    thanks

this was the offer at my local store so i took them to the till and got her to ring them in first to check - they went through as 2 for £7 and also had the discount on them shown on the shelf added on the receipt. So I ended up paying £5.20 for the 2 bottles!

On my recipt it said -£10.98 (2 for £7 offer) and in another section i got the 90p off per bottle deal too.

I didn't get the t & g voucher form the machine so i used 2 prof hair products vouchers instead
  • i havent got any of them offers offered to me lol does it depend on what you have bought in the past
i got 50 points off the dental range
if you appreciate this then a thank you would be appreciated :T

Got the last grey No 17 bag in the shop (free with a £5+ spend) + triple points. Forgot there was a £1 voucher in the bag or could have saved even more icon9.gif
One very happy bunny nevertheless .....[/QUOTE]

Do you have to spend £5 on No.17 or over £5 on any products>

i did have a bit of fun in the mini mode sale though :) some nice new clothes for my baby! how far in advance do you think tis ok to buy for my baby? shes 5 weeks old and with the new year sales and so on ive been buying things i like on sale upto 1 years old. eg. i already have next year's winter coat from jojo maman bebe, but im not sure how far in advance i should buy...

Karnam, I always buy about a year to 18 months in advance depending on the item, so far the only things that I have bought in advance that I have gotten wrong were the 3yr trousers / joggers & jeans that I bought for my little boy, he is 3 now but because he has such little legs they don't fit properly  But I always work out things like age next summer & winter and buy things accordingly. I always manage to pick up bargins in Boots (think I went a bit mad in the Boots & Next Summer sale though so I have to limit myself this time!) :xmassmile

i've never been able to buy too far ahead with mine. my eldest is tiny and skinny so now that he's at school and growing more slowly i know what i can buy for him - if something fits him in terms of length, waist, shape then i know the next size up will fit him in a year or two. babies are a different matter though. i bought ahead for my eldest but he didn't grow averagely so i ended up with summer clothes that fitted him in winter and vice versa - at a year old he wore 6-9 clothes. my new baby is in 9-12 month clothes at only 4 months old so all the 9-12 summer things i bought for him are useless in december. i don't know what rate he'll grow at yet really. i've bought vests in lots of sizes - in summer he will just wear a vest and nothing else, for sleeping at least. in winter he will wear a vest underneath other clothes, so vests are always worth buying, as are socks of course. even sleepsuits aren't much good for my baby because he's naturally hot and in summer he can't wear a sleepsuit, it has to be just a vest or a shortie sleepsuit. a girl might be easier to buy for, a dress can be worn in summer or have tights etc. added in winter.

after the first year or so the sizes cover a wider range - if you buy a coat age 2-3 you know it will fit during the colder weather at some point.

Thats good to know, I'll have to keep an eye out for some more paper jams ;)

Went into Boots on Saturday, unusually dh was with me, dd3 rushed to get a mini trolley and then waited next to the advantage machine - dh couldn't quite understand what was going on, but I've obviously got dd trained!

Got Max Factor bag - used it on Saturday evening (rare evening out!) and got loads of compliments, think local Boots may be getting rid of a few of these in the next day or two! Got Evian bits - what a bargain, mother will be very happy with all these extras that will appear in her stocking this year! Boots sinus relief reduced to 99p plus had 50 points voucher, great as we're all suffering with awful colds and are going through this stuff like nobody's business. Also got lots of JF anti frizz hairspray reduced from £1.99 to 49p plus 100 points - unfortunately machine would only let me print one voucher, but still a bargain!

So spent £22.02, total savings shown as £13.43 and got 803 points (triple on MF) - what a bargain. Thanks to all who post here - now I just need a new cupboard for all the evening primrose and handwashes etc.
