Boots Grabbit Bargains Thread part 3 - post your finds here

In Mansfield Retail Park Boots they have the Max Factor Evening bags next to a bargain bin of reduced cosmetics!!

Picked up 2 MF lipsticks for just over £3 & got a free black beaded evening bag!! SA was off to get hers later once she discovered it worked for me!!

Paid with my points as I thought I deserved a treat for carrying all that Evening Primrose and Tony & Guy stuff home over the last few weeks!!

Bagged my first Boots bargain today - 2 bottles of Toni & Guy Shampoo/Conditioner (1ltr pump bottles) for just £7 plus 100 extra bonus points with ticket from the machine thing. Planned on getting some Evian stuff as well but got all flustered and forgot!

Any way i just wanted to say thank you to all who posted, this was a great saving, I could not have afforded this product otherwise.

Lewisham Boots today. The Evian wipes were reduced to £1.32 from £3.99 (so it said, seems a bit dear to me!).
Got the BOGOF voucher from the machine, bought 2 and was charged 60p + 5 points added..........................so went back and got 6 more
Half for me and half for my new daughter-in-law.
She already has enough ST's "for the rest of her life" so she tells me. I think she must think............. that I think she smells, all the body stuff and those primrose products and personal hygene thingies!!!
That's Boots for you girls and boys. Its not our fault they give us so much that we in turn have to give it away is it?

Not everyone gets the same AC vouchers, I only get a 50 points on proffesional haircare voucher.,

not a bad shop for me,

spent nearly £30 so got my 300 extra points, could only print one toni and guy 250 points voucher but also got a 150 proffesional haircare one so extra 400 points for £7 on toni and guy. plus i picked up the 200 extra points for cuticaria (??) gel, but forgot to loojk for it as i got carried away else where. but handed the voucher over by mistake and it went through!!!!!
so 1017 points for a £30 spend, not bad as it was xmas pressies!!

I only got 100 from AC machine but printed out two and so got 200. Also ought two Ruby & Millie face sponges for £2 each and got 500 points. Mistake though as it should only be on cosmetics but SA said "What the heck, it's Christmas" as she added them on manually:xmassmile

Forgot about everything else as it was too hot and heaving! :xmastree:

i did NOT have a good day in boots.

after seeing that all natural collection products were bogof (the label said ALL NC products and there were no exclusions on the label) upstairs in the bath section of my local boots (ilford) i went downstairs to pick up two nail polishes i had been thinking of buying. when i went to the till the woman insisted that it was exclusive of make up and that the fact that it was on different floors should have told me so, regardless of the word 'ALL' and the fact there were no exclusions. was this wrong of her? i pointed out false advertising but she dismissed it saying that it was 'obvious' although if you ask me, its obviously on all products since the label says ALL products! i bought one nail polish in the end

i also tried to use my '200' points on botanic skincare voucher on a minature of skincare botanics at 75p. again there were NO exclusions on the voucher apart from men's range, it didnt say it excluded minatures. however the woman tried to scan it and it didnt work. so i asked her to try again without my HUGE christmas shop. she tried again and said it didnt work and that it was obvious thati t wasnt going to work since boots would never give people points to take stuff away. again i checked the t & c v carefully and it seemed clear i should have been allowed the 200 points. i was too stingy and didnt take the minature in the end but still! 200points would have been nice

do you think i was in the wrong or the SA? should i have been more pushy - i was in a bit of a rush what with buying christmas pressies and loads and loads of baby stock ups to avoid buying stuff for a fortnight. should i try the botanics voucher again?

if only my boots stocked giant t & g and gave me the vouchers. id be in heaven, i love t&g!
