In the bag however was a voucher for £1.50 off when spent £7.50. I've read on here that people have got £1 off £5 vouchers? I'd much rather have had one of them!! x

Have you tried turning the voucher over ;) Mine had the £1.50 off £7.50 on one side & £1.00 off £5.00 on the other

Check the No. 17 voucher. From memory it is 1.50 and 7.50 euros not pounds.

I went and got the large tony and guy shampoo and conditioner today. Didn't get the 250 point voucher but did get 100 points off any purchase of hair products so its better than nothing.

Young girl at the till commented on the cheap price, said no one else has realised this and that she (and the girl on the next till) will be purchasing some later...... maybe I have very few MSE'ers in my area!!
    2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j
  • I went to Boots at Lakeside today. I haven't seen it posted on here, but I got the 500 extra AD points on First Aid, and instead of getting the one everyone has been mentioning (Day out £3.89 one), I got 'Bite& Stings' aid kit'.
Its in a sturdy purple plastic container, about the same size as the day out one, but only cost £2.49. I got the 500 extra points with no problem.
Also got 6 Cuticura hand washes, 3 evening primrose hand washes = £9.42 and got 1337 points. Did that twice! Enough handwashes for an army in this house!!!!!
Gave my sis-in-law her first lesson in AD points and she got 1900 extra points on her usual shop. She said she'd never heard of the machine before (I MUST have told her, I tell EVERYONE). She was allowed to use 14! YES 14 different vouchers from the machine. The girl even apoligised that 300 points hadn't gone through............and called a supervisor to add them on manually.
Got 3 bites & stings, 2 Evian sets and almost 'bought' an ipod at £219, with my points!. I decided against it when the guy went into a speil about it, never use it to its full advantage, so wasn't worth it. Really enjoyed saying I was going to use points to pay for it though ................he nearly died of shock!
So I now have £224 points, I'll be using them in the sale now, because I have enough toiletries, ST's and vitamins, to supply Boots if they ever run short on anything. I've only been saving since the end of July this year.
Thanks everyone for posting the offers. I'm not on the ball enough to work them out instore. We were in Boots for almost 1 1/2 hrs, it was busy as well, not just us browsing and buying taking so long.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker
lilaclillie did you put through more than one evening primrose in each transaction and if so do you have to use one coupon for each or can you just give one coupon and it will add 100 points for each automatically?

The Advantage Card machines are giving out vouchers that enable you to BOGOF on Evian skincare. Boots currently have all of their Evian stock reduced in price (usually by a couple of pounds, some are a third off). When you put your products through the till and hand the voucher over, the till deducts the original full price of the product. For example, if you buy two items that were originally priced at £6 but have been reduced to £4 using the BOGOF voucher, the till deducts £6, leaving you with bargain skincare!

    Wheeee..thank you Frogling... icon7.gif

2 x Evian Facewipes (Reduced to £2.65)... the till clocked at £1.31 after the BOGOF and then (oh joy,oh bliss!!), that particular Boots had a 10% off everything day sooooo...price to pay...£1.18......well, just had to go back again and again didn't |I??? icon10.gif

  • Teerah..................I put the handwashes all in the same transaction, but gave the same amount of vouchers at the end. The till automatically took all the vouchers off in one go, giving the 100 or 200 per handwash on each item.
But when my sis-in-law tried a different till, it would only take 1 handwash/voucher per transaction. So she just cancelled the order and asked the assistant to put her's through one at a time. In the meantime (while they were cancelling her shoppping), I'd finished at my till, so she moved all her stuff over to the till I'd been on and they all went through the same as mine.
Just goes to show that different tills in the same store, don't always do the same job. Also they have 6 AD machines in Lakeside branch, I only tried 2 but they gave me different offers (some the same), both time.
I must say I also didn't see anyone use the machine's in all the time I was in there. I'm sure someone must have of course. With all the good offers on this site, you'd think there would be queues as long as the till rolls.
Even worse, most people paying didn't have an advantage card at all!
