i would assume so as gift cards are counted as cash so yes and you would get points also.....0

just wanted to say what a great thread this is, i've saved an absolute fortune. this is my first posting on this thread as i've just been into Boots at the Fort, Birmingham and the weirdest thing has just happened and i've rushed home to type it up!!
they've got a couple of racks of Mini mode childrens clothes with red "half price" stickers attached to them, so i thought i'd picked up acouple of
bits and pieces for my little ones. A lovely dress that was marked up as £12 (but would cost £6 because of the 1/2 pricetag) a couple of tops
marked as £6 but would be £3. Soooo i happily trotted off to the cash desk and asked if i could pay with my points thinking it would cost me about £15 but when she wizzed them through the machine the whole total came up as £7.50, so in actual fact i got 1/2 price taken off the 1/2 price!!!
i hope this makes some sense, i'm not sure if it was a one off but i'm sure its worth a go, especially when u can effectively get a lovely £12 dress for £3.
happy shopping fellow BOOTeenies!!0 -
hi brummie bird i use the fort to its better than the boots in town, and its free parking !!!!!!!!!!!!!0

hi newmum1, the Fort is really convenient isnt it? its literally five minutes away from where i live and i'm always trawling round Boots for my bargains!! i've got got two little ones (3yr and 7 months) and the thought of dragging them round Birmingham City Centre fills me with horror!! The Fort could do with a decent coffee though, a place to rest your tired legs and feed the kids!!!0

Gift cards work exactly the same as money except if you have a refund the money has to go back on the card. You can use all the points vouchers as if you are using cash.
I tried to get the makeup and bags on points but SA told me I could not have the bags if i pay with points. They would not take the £1 voucher or the one from the magazine as not valid with any other offer..... boo. Still spent £15.45 and got 3 bags so i can't complain too much. DD school friends pressies all sorted now.0 -

shrewdal wrote:Hi, I went to my local Boots yesterday and they still had the signs up for a £10 spend on n0 17 to receive the wee grey bag, however, thanks to poster on here I knew this had changed and had a word with the store manager who told me that it now was a £5 spend but they hadn't taken down the signs yet.
I had a voucher from the Boots magazine for a third off lipstick or lip gloss, so I used this towards my purchase. I bought a lovely pink lipstick and lip gloss and it came to £6.01 so gotr my wee bag. As there is another voucher inside for £1 off a £5 spend , I just have to use it up and another voucher from the magazine. If I buy the lipstick and lipgloss again my purchase will come to £5.01 and I will still qualify for another bag.0
