CostCutter wrote:I'm a little worried.... My Johnson's bargin order from boots had expected delivery date of 1/11/05 but as yet I still haven't had it nor have I had an email to say it's been dispached.
I do have the order confirmation but don't know if I should email them to say I haven't got the stuff yet in case they say I can't have the order...
hmmmm don't know what to do
I queried the non-delivery of my order, also due 1/11/05, despite asking for an e-mail response I came home to a message on the answer machine. Basically... 'technical fault...blah blah blah.. they'll cancel the order and I can re-order if I still want them'.
So much for boots honouring mistakes! All the World is a Stage; and I'm going through a difficult one at the moment!0 -

i had this happen to me, I'd ring the customer line and complain, they usually sort it out much better for you than you get by email.0 -
I just phoned them to chase my order, due on 1/11. I got told the same 'technical error story' and that I have to reorder. Nothing they can do so they say.
Do you think I should write and complain??2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0 -
Just playing Devil's Advocate for a moment..........I'm not sure how you could complain about not getting an order you shouldn't really even have got in the first place?
Is this not one of those 'try it on' situations and if it comes off, great - and if it doesn't, well never mind, onto the next one?
Just a thought.....Herman - MP for all!0 -
hmmmm thats a shame, I will try and give them a call (got to be worth a try)
but I guess I can't really complain, would have been nice to be one of the lucky ones. :rolleyes:0 -

i've seen that in the shops too. it looks really nice, and was originally 30 pounds. think the printing voucher expires at the end of december, so don't put it away as a pressie without checking though.0 -

i bought two of these one for my little one and one for our cousin who is expecting in dec. The voucher expires Dec 2006, but the camera itself expired in june, took the cameras back to the local boots and they exchanged with new cameras!!
i have found this to be an excellent set as the box that it all comes in doubles up as a memento box to keep all ur cards, old balloons etc.. in
hope this helps:j0 -
The Kodak Ls 743 digital camera is back in stock at https://www.boots.com priced at £99.99. Add something to your basket to bring it to over £100 and you could then use a £10 off code OR use a 1500 extra Advantage points code (which would effectively make the camera around £85 with free delivery).
This would be a great everyday camera and good value at £85.
Features:
4.0-megapixel resolution
1.8-inch colour LCD monitor
Real-image optical viewfinder
2.8x optical zoom
3.6x digital zoom
16 Mb internal memory
SD card compatible
Movie mode with sound
15 automatic scene modes including close up mode to within 2" of your subject matter
