  • I noticed that they're doing 3 for 2 on all dental again (excluding recharable toothbrushes). I thought I'd give the "Save" products ago, since last time they did this, they had braun brushes on save £10, which came off before the 3 4 2, effectively giving us 3 for a tenner.
The braun brushes are marked at half price, and not save, so i tried 3 of the fancy sonicare brushes, which say save 20, so are £40 each. Unfortunatley they didn't come up 3 4 2! Damn. Thought I was going to be onto a good one. I got the girl to total it, but I didnt' complete the transaction, so there is still a possibility that it will work...anyone got the balls to try it???

Did you get one of these? Which model is it (code number)? Some websites have that photograph, but a different description.
I couldn't work out if it was a discontinued model, an expresso maker, or a normal filter coffee thing.

No I didnt get one I came across while I was looking for something else.

just wanted to say thank you to everyone with boots threads in general. have just introduced a heavily pregnant friend to the 'real' boots policy....she went there today and was sooooooooooo happy. 50 quids worths or stuff, plus another 25 in freebies [no 7 box, free sanitary things etc], all for under 20 pounds plus nearly 15 in points. she was running out of the shop laughing, and her hubbie thought she'd nicked the stuff, or admin error. neither of them could believe it. also, i'd ordered for her buggy and car seat during the triple points thing, so they'd just updated their points and now find that they have jumped from nearly nothing to nearly 130 pounds in points.

two very happy customers [soon to be three]

thanks for letting us know what to buy/how to get more points etc

more boots addicts on their way to the nearest boots.....heee heee
  • Today in Boots Chelmsford there are 'homedics' spa kits half price at £6.48. They have a cd,vibrating body massager, shower gel, candle and refloxology roller in a box and look good for gifts, I think. :j
There was some confusion over the price, with one sales lady saing it was a misprice so I could only have two. They looked as if they were marked down from £20 but I see that online they are £12.99. Anyway, there were more priced cheaper elsewhere in the store so I got 5, mainly thinking of my teenage girls who are always asking for money for presents for their friends at school which gets pricey.
Thanks to all the previous posters- I haven't been a Boots shopper up to now. :T

Dont understand why it takes "balls" to try it? If it doesnt work can you not simply take it back to them for a refund?

Oh this is so funny (well, not really!!) I placed an order with boots for a bottle of perfume and some holiday skin, got the order and the holiday skin is in there but there is fish oil (the childrens vitamin) I ordered that last time and recieved it .... no perfume tho, now as much as I like cats I don't want to attract the whole neighbourhood of moggies by wearing the fish oil!!!! what should I do?

Contact boots.com and explain that you have received an incorrect item, and are missing an item. With any luck they'll dispatch the correct item to you, and they may allow you to keep the fish oil...depending on how generous they are.
