I recieved a note from the post office saying that I needed to pay £1.92 for a packet that someone had sent me without paying the postage:mad: I have just walked into Northfield (about 1.5 miles up hill) and picked it up - on opening it, I found the SoGood Bag for Life. Its not free, I had to pay for it.
Horace, email them and complain about it, they should at the very least send you some vouchers but should also refund the postage charge you incurred.

Totally agree. My kids walk that far each way to school and back too, ( and me with them) and I walked about 4 miles to my high school as a child. I am 45 and still the weight I was at 20 after having 2 kids because we walk so much. We go for long walks at the weekend too and the kids love it. Also get to see lots of interesting things and have lots of interesting chats, which wouldn't happen if we were whizzing there in the car. (And yes I do have one; we just prefer to walk. Plus we save money and cause less pollution!)
Yeah i tend to walk everywhere unless i need to carry something heavy or its tipping it down (grrr wheres global warming when ya need it). Infact when i bought my house it had to be within 30 min walking distance of town, saves so much on stuff like taxis when you go out on a night. It annoys me where my friends who live much closer to town get a taxi to town.Money, Money, Money ..... Banks/Casinos/Bookies give me all you money its a poor mans world....0 -
