Well, I've just been on the website to request one - and they are showing the following message:
So Good Bag For Life.
We have had a fantastic response to this promotion - so much so that we are all out of our Bags for Life.
Apologies to anyone who missed out - please keep coming back to see what other great promotions we have to offer.0 -
Thanks ordered mine as well.0

Don't get me wrong, I love the canvas bags - I use it to keep all my plastic bags in
. The last time I used it to actually carry home shopping, the milk leaked, soaked the lovely canvas bag, and the carpeting of my car - guess how long that took to clean out and get rid of the smell  . Plus of course had to wash out the canvas bag !!!
They don't call me The Old Bag for nothing
I have to agree, we use them also for everything in this house. Also cannot stand paper bags from shops, i.e the new designers at debenhams ones. Last time I got caught out in the rain, the bag was soaked and the insides were soaked. I was lucky it didn't give in!!0 -
Just tried none left will keep looking !0

lol, I HAVEN'T put people off the idea. I said myself I reuse and recycle ALL my plastic bags. I was merely saying there are far more important environmental issues to worry about which couple with children's healthI can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0

Thanks I just ordered mine too.
I have a stack of re-usable bags from Tesco plastic to co-op fabric. I use plastic bags as binliners all over the house as well as storing stuff in them. They're great when I go camping to either keep things dry or to chuck stuff away. If I get a surplus (I do sometimes) then I take them to my local charity shop and they use them there - they have told me that Morrisons bags are strongest and they use them when they sell heavier items plus they save bags because they don't have to double bag.
As for kids not wallking to school the parents should be ashamed to drive them - I used to walk 2.5 miles to school even though the bus from the next village used to go past the end of my road. Walking never did me any harm plus it kept the weight off - parents wonder today why their kids are so fat.
Sorry just jumped on the soapbox for a minute but have jumped off it now.:D
Totally agree. My kids walk that far each way to school and back too, ( and me with them) and I walked about 4 miles to my high school as a child. I am 45 and still the weight I was at 20 after having 2 kids because we walk so much. We go for long walks at the weekend too and the kids love it. Also get to see lots of interesting things and have lots of interesting chats, which wouldn't happen if we were whizzing there in the car. (And yes I do have one; we just prefer to walk. Plus we save money and cause less pollution!)I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. Secondly: Plastic bags form a very small part (both by volume and weight) of our overall UK waste. Whilst removing them will reduce the eye-sores they create in the countryside when they become airborne, the increased purchase of bin-liners will mean that the overall amount of plastic entering landfill sites will not noticably decrease.
However, handy as they are, I too want to see then charged-for in supermarkets like they do in the ROI. You adapt your shopping habits very quickly, and although the waste benefit isn't truly felt, a cleaner country is always better for tourism.
And a cleaner (air) country is even better by many thousands of percent for our kids!!! So ban the mobile phone and ban large engined cars before the plastic bag!I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I recieved a note from the post office saying that I needed to pay £1.92 for a packet that someone had sent me without paying the postage:mad: I have just walked into Northfield (about 1.5 miles up hill) and picked it up - on opening it, I found the SoGood Bag for Life. Its not free, I had to pay for it.0
