Any decent jewellers in Olu Deniz, Turkey?

Take a Dolmus or Taxi up to Hisaronu. At the beginning of town on the right hand side (on a corner with a Chinese Restaurant on other corner) you will find Midas Touch. I bought a stunning white gold ring there last September which is set with diamonds and a whopping gem stone. I paid £600 for it and I had it valued when I got home and nearly fainted (£2800!!!!!!!!!!!).

The guys are lovely in the shop and they do plain and fancy and you can even buy gem stones if you want for putting into jewellery at a later date.

I have been going to the area for 8 years now and always find the shops in Hisaronu cheaper than Olu Deniz.

Visited OD about 6 yrs back and bought a cracking white gold/diamond heavy paved ring for my wife cost £550, I plan to go back in Sep myself and buy a couple more because they were lost.

I would recommend Velox jewellery which is directly opposite Sultan Ahmet and next door to Harrys bar. I first visited Olu Deniz in May and purchased a 9ct pink sapphire and 2 ct diamond gold ring. It is absolutely beautiful. I have just returned and purchased the earing and necklace to match. The service at Velox is second to none. All of the staff are very friendly especially Fulya and Deniz. If they do not have what you want they wil make it to your design. Really beautiful jewellery and lovely people to match.
