With AOL now offering a choice of a laptop or PS3 for new customers, I wondered if anyone had any views if this is likely to expand to more providers?

    It seems that internet providers are either trying to maintain a healthy monthly charge by offering free gifts, or reducing their rates to keep the custom.
    My internet contact is expired at the end of month, and whilst i would normally stay as i am, i've found it's getting more like insurance products for example, whereby free gifts or reduced cost are offered upon joining, plus then the added incentive of cashback by going through cashback sites.

    my contract expires every month (monthly contract) and much as i can find cheaper (free in some cases!) i'd rather pay my £20/month and be happy!
