    thanks dept free chick, !!!!!! etc, i have lots to try now, and I will manage to sort my label problem out, if only there were more hours in the day. now i will log off, because i have been invited to lunch. I am so pleased with the advice i have been given.

    I've just fired up MS Works 8.5 on a spare machine. This version of Works has a template for J8651 labels. Access 'Return Address Labels' through the task launcher, select Multiple Address Labels and click OK.
    On the next screen change the dropdown to Avery A4 & A5 and you should be able to scroll down to the J8651 template. If that is not there then look for L7651, it's the template for the laser version and is exactly the same.



    And if all else fails then I have put a template on my site for you to download.
