Help RE: Overdue Vodafone Account
Options
I missed a couple of bills on my vodafone account last year and it was subsequently cancelled. The debt was passed to Wescot and an arrangement was made to pay off the balance.
I then lost my job last October but started work again in January so therefore contacted Wescot again by letter advising them of my new address and wanting to start the arrangement again. I heard nothing from them again until another letter was sent to my old address where my parents still stay from another company saying the debt had been passed to them and to contact them which I did but have got nowhere as I can't pay anything or the end of the month and they need payment now apparently.
Any advice on what to do next?

Tell your parents to write a letter informing them that you no longer live at your parents address
Tell them you can only pay £X/month and would like to inform them that you have NO assets. In the mean time transfer everything you have e.g car into your parents name
Don't let them !!!!!!!s harass you
Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.0 -
Thanks for the reply I'll certainly do that0

By all means follow the previous posters advice,
But when you call i would`nt ring up shouting the odds and demanding anything unreasonable, You unfortunatly are not the one in control of the situation,
They are the ones at the moment that have the power to inflict serious and long lasting damage to your credit rating,
I would ring up and be firm but polite, explain your situation and that you are willing to make payment and negotiate from there,
Good luck0
