I'm thinking of opening the Halifax ISA saver direct, it seems to be a telephone banking account and i was wondering how telephone banking works, how can you move money in and out (if necessary) of the ISA account. Thanks

Basically you just phone up and they usually transfer the money to a nominated account.
You can also operate this account via the internet if you sign up for HBOS internet banking.
Any reason why you are choosing Halifax? There are much better paying ISA providers at the moment.0
