It was a moan up about the price in general going up from 1.99 to 2.29 in a matter of a few days.
It peed me off and I had a moan on here (hence the VENT board)
I aint stoopid and realise prices go up but this peed me off cos feeding 5 kids and 2 adults on a budget is tough enough as it is. I found something EVERYONE in the house likes and instead of being a not bad price it has turned into a "how much?" price.
Why can't people have a moan (a reasonable moan at that) without the nasty nit pickers jumping on board?
So much of it goes on here; if you can't say something nice it's better to say nothing at all.
And thank you to the posters who understood what my post was about x
I can relate to that, I have a wife and four children to support so every small increase on the household shopping bill is a strain.0 -

Isn't Co-Op just running a business where sale and demand rule?
Considering how many branches of Coop have closed recently at least
the OP still has one near them to use.
What's more annoying is when you really like something and when you
go back it says 'New and Improved Recipe' load of tosh! Cheaper ingredients
and all the sweeteners taken out more like!

The real reason for the price hike, may of been that co-op got a good deal for the first lot, then when they bought more the company charged more, it not there fault. They hook you in with the good deals and the quality so you buy more, but when you do go back the price is higher, thats the retail business for you! All products that start off do that, if i remeber when cumpa chups first came it, it was 10p a lolly at our local one stop, but then it went up to 30p! we didnt vent about it we lived up to it!
AND prices change ALL the time!0 -
