Telemessage letter

Recieved a letter this morning stating that the above account remains unpaid. Please call 0845 070 3000 to make payment in full or agree a payment arrangment.
Failure to contact may result in your account being passed to a debt collection agency and/or County Court for summons.

I don't recognise the account number quoted and was wondering if anyone knew who the number 0845 070 3000 relates to?

Thanks

Maybe someone else will know. Sorry

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

If the letter didn't say which company it was from, i'd not bother calling.
It could be someone fishing for information.

If it is important, they'd leave more info that that and will be back in touch.

I had a letter exactly the same as that (No name just said Telemessage on envelope) turns out to be from from Npower - I switched electric from Npower to Britsh Gas and paid the final Npower bill late. (only two weeks after getting it) and then I got that blunt letter.
Shall not be going back to them if that is how they treat ex-customers.

It is Npower as I got a similar letter today. I'd switched from them to Scottish Power and there was an amount outstanding. Scottish Power were querying the opening readings so are contacting Npower. They said to ask Npower to hold my account in the meantime yet Npower hadn't. Had to call them back and got a supervisor to grudgingly do so even thought I'd been promised it had been done previously. Not what I call good customer service - the "telemessage" completely confused me.

Npower did that to me when I left them, I cancelled my direct debit waiting for the final bill and got a bright yellow letter with something like that.

So I was a pain in the bottom and when the bill came I paid it but forgot to sign the cheque - how silly - cost them to write back and then they had to wait a little longer!
  • id just bin it, i hope these people recycle .
  • Just dropped by to thank everyone on this thread for helping me out with this.

Just got off the phone to Npower and they have sorted both my accounts out. They were wanting me to pay my electricity bill in full when my gas account was in credit for nearly £150
