From what some have said, if you're not an existing customer it appears Barclays are asking you to make an appoitment to open their Tax Haven ISA.0

I have a Barclaycard too but still had to go into the branch to open it, though they had most of my details on their system already.kanchhelskis wrote: »thanks for the reply i have a credit card with them, so i should be ok right?0 -

Barclays cashier gave me a 2009/09 application form without making an appointment to see someone.
( they are under lock and key though. :rotfl: )
Take in personal cheque + Driving Licence with photo card or passport + utility bills to be on the safe side.
( In March 2007 Barclays Branch copied my Driving licence ID gave me back the originals and took my application form + cheque )0 -
i will go in town tommorow and try thanks for all the replies.0

opened mine on thursday..........just walked in off the street with my passport and 1 utility bill........the lass completed all necessary application on her computer.......only thing is remember your NI number and take a cheque in as the dont accept cash. Opened it with £10......told paperwork will be through by next friday and I can put the balance in on 6th april.....told I'd be getting the interest from the day the cheque deposited rather than when it clears.
have never had any previous accounts with Barclays0 -
