Thanks folks! Just got ack from a short break in Blackpool & it's done us the world of good! Didn't overspend either. Asked DD if she wanted to go around the pleasure beach but she wasn't bothered, as she doesn't like many of the big rides, so that saved us a bit of cash, so apart from petrol money, fish & chips & a few beers, we didn't spend alot more. DD spent a tenner in the arcades, but that came out of her own pocket money.Debt at LBM(July 1st 07)-£35,053.92 Debt on 1st Anniversary of LBM(July 1st 08)-£33,170.11 (31st January 09)-£32,318.73Paid off so far £2,735.19(7.8%) Average paid off p.m. £143.95 L/H supporter 115 DFD target February 2018 DFD March 2028. Well managed to knock over £200 off our debts(well over £300 as some transactions haven't reached their destination IYKWIM). We are quite pleased with that considering it was DD's birthday & we went away for a couple of days. Applied for another CC with Capital One for 5.5% til 2011, but they can't give an answer for 7 days, so not holding out much hope! Cleared the ghastly 19.5% OD & used up the 0% first £300 of OD by paying an extra £101 to Mint card @ 15.9%. Hoping for a good November but have car tax & also water coming through from bathroom again, so more expense there:mad: . My mate coming around later to fix the problem, but I think the bathroom's jinxed, we have spent good money after bad on it to be honest. We could have claimed through our insurance a few months ago but it seemed a shame to rip apart a lovely brand new bathroom. Going to see what he can do later & if we have anymore problems we will have to claim through insurance. So thanks for reading & here is new update!

Well originally it was going to be Ireland, but we would like to go to Ireland & explore the country, so will go there another year, but we've changed our mind & are going to a lovely little resort in Majorca, called Peurto Pollensa,(forgive the spelling)! I went there a few years ago with my mates after the travel agents cocked up & sent 8 lads in their early 20's there, instead of to the more lively Alcudia, a few miles down the road! Always said that I'd go back there one day & looking at the resort again on the net made it an easy choice for both of us,it's gorgeous! Just the 2 of us were going to go at first, but we have both agreed to take DD, as obviously we cannot afford another holiday next year, so we don't want her to miss out! So it will be a week of chillin by the pool & on the beach, really looking forward to it!Debt at LBM(July 1st 07)-£35,053.92 Debt on 1st Anniversary of LBM(July 1st 08)-£33,170.11 (31st January 09)-£32,318.73Paid off so far £2,735.19(7.8%) Average paid off p.m. £143.95 L/H supporter 115 DFD target February 2018 DFD March 2028.
