Quick question Blagger if you are happily looking for work and on bennifit but dont get HA how come you can go for theses flats you mentioned in an other thread at 550+ a month? "Landlords like me " dont take 5/6 of the rent I get full rent as I price the properties accordingly.
Just stop being bitter mate!

Don't get HA, as I have savings, thus can pay rent from that.

I pay 5/6 ths rent or less, cos if I have a !!!!!! of a LL I will start p!ssing them about with the rent.

Average house price is down a whopping £8 grand, from £199k in August to £191k now. That's got to hurt!

I theoretically just "lost" about £9K in March 2008. But my savings, pension and mortgage debt didn't really change.

So I don't count myself poorer as a result. And if any March fall in house price means my Kipper son can find somewhere to buy then I'll be much better off. :rotfl:

It doesn't hurt most people and it will probably help more people than it hurts. However the related credit crunch probably will hurt the majority when we remortgage or when your bank puts up our SVR.
It won't be a profit or loss until the day I sell it.
It'll actually only be a profit if you then decide to rent for the rest of your life.
