What happened to the picture of your new van . the one you paid £££ Five Thousand Pounds cash for ? nice house BTW !
I wish I could take all those exotic holidays,:shhh:  :hello:0 -
The secrets to owning a house seem to be:
- somehow end up in the right job
- live in the right area
- find a partner
Overall most housing has been based on 2 incomes. Since the recent silly season you've then also needed to have the right job and be in the right area too to buy.
Maybe there's something in this polygamy thing. If I could have 3 husbands providing for me .... could get a mortgage on all their salaries.0 -
Sorry that's not allowed under the current rules.
In any event, you would have to be in bed much earlier, my dear.0 -

You sound very bitter Nelly and in my opinion probably deserve what life has thrown at you.
With all your posts you seem to be on here alot? If only you had spent a similar amount of effort back at school.
Also bear in mind that in most other counties around the world home ownership is not feasible for people. Considering this why is spending 90% of you salary a bad thing if owning a house is what you want to do?
Ooh, can I be the first to nominate this post as the most patronising and condescending of 2008?0 -

I made my point to the person I wanted, then edited to post in the morning.
If I work two days at weekend then it roughly pays for 1 day on holiday
So every 14 weeks, I can spend two weeks abroad without dipping into my normal weekly wage.
Fair enough, that amount of work isnt for everyone, and I do take a few sundays off now and again, but this is a big planet and has a lot to see, do and enjoy0 -

Lets hope you pay tax on these earnings so that others can also benefit from this extra money.
I know loads of trades that get paid cash but never give out any reciepts for the work that has been done.
I wonder where all that cash is going?:rolleyes:0 -

Start at the site at 8, wont mix up another load of plaster after 1.30pm because it wont go off quicker enough for me to work it to a polish.
Hard life being a spread being home by 2pm.:rotfl:
Try working for the NHS or being paid minimum wage cleaning up after all the so called trades have finished.
Get real Nelly you have it very easy.:T0 -
