Writers:Share - Get paid to leave comments!

totally agree with all of you about being very annoyed. I too emailed them about a week ago asking whether they were still sending acceptance emails. I've had no response and nothing approved. Think i wrote about 15 how much wasted time is that!!

I disagree. They told us they were working through backlogs of payments, which they were and they paid us albeit a week or so later than we expected.

The told us they were closing the topics on site to read through our comments. Nothing misleading there either.

Dont really see that they have strung us along. They might have been not too good at keeping us informed, but they havent mislead us.

It was our own choice to write comments, and we will be paid for them, but we have to allow for them to get the site up and running.

if you count up the comments (that we know about) in that little table, thats a lot of comments for a little man in a shed on his own to read through and thats only the ones we know about.

I know people are getting fed up (to say the least) with the site, and I can't blame tham as I am myself.

But I do think the site is honest, but overworked, and we will get paid. I think the crunch will come, not when we get paid, but when we see how much we are paid.

It's bad enough writing comments and then waiting a week or two to get paid without even knowing IF you are going to get paid. But if we only get paid for half our comments that could tip the balance for some people.

Hi guys, just adding my totals to the list. I guess we are all going to have to be patient, but I must admit it's getting a bit annoying, I keep checking my e-mails and paypal and still nothing.

I copy and pasted all mine onto word so if I don't get paid I am going to submit them to www.triond.com or www.xomba.com. You don't get paid as much as it's based on clicks on the google ads, but once you've submitted your comments you don't have to do anything else, and the pennies do start adding up.

I would rather get paid from Writers share, so I will be patient (for now!)

I would like to be paid by Writers Share too, but if they reject comments then the two sites you mention could provide a secondary us for them.

I read your comment about 25 minutes ago, and thought you meant the wasn't working as the comments aren't working.

But I've just tried to visit the site and it's gone, all I get is a "Not Found" message!

The site's not working for me either, but I get something different - simply the word info on the page on its own.

Yes, I also see a plain white page with the word "info" small, top left.

I wonder if they realised last week that they couldn't keep it going or something, paid some folks from what they had sold so far or something, and then collected up as many comments as possible this week, and done a runner, so to speak? Whole thing seems a bit fishy, now the site is gone again etc... not very professional that's for sure. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
