Writers:Share - Get paid to leave comments!

Despite the previous shut down to improve the system (if they did improve it!), they still have a major problem with reviewing and paying for comments, which is what they shut down for in the first place!
I wrote comments every day from when it reopened, including the day of shut down and other than their email today for the previous lost payment, which I sent on 6th May, I still have no acceptance or rejection emails.
The system to me seems a little worse than it was before, as now nobody is hearing a dicky bird from them.

Also given the volume of comments they are receiving, wouldn't it be more productive to review them daily, rather than on the Friday they are meant to be sending payments out?
Shutting the site down to review means they as well as us are losing cash :eek:

just tried to get onto writers share main page and it wont load, says its under maintanace, hopefully this will solve a few problems whatever it maybe, also, they might've done one =/

with baited breath, just checking the incompetence I mean progress now and then.

Yep, especially when they have said you will only get paid if you have received an acceptance email!

I here you geordie joe! I am one of the lucky ones to have had some accepted, although very few so far so I can imagine what it is like for people who haven't had any acceptance e-mails!

The real kicker is that we still cannot even write any comments so if we are left to wait about 2-3 weeks every time for our £20-30 then it really may not be worth it.

Writers Share have told us they are sorting out problems with the system again, I thought it was ment to be running properly when they came back up last week.

We can all live in hope.

I wrote some comments about 4 weeks ago. I got paid last week. Haven't been able to find any open comments since and now the site seems to be down. Wonder whether they've bitten off more than they can chew!

Hi Paul

Thank you for getting in touch.

As we've upgraded our backend system, we have found that a few writers fell through the gap in our last payment and we will consolidate all your details together and make a payment to go out this week.

You will only get paid for any comments that has received acceptance emails, however don't worry too much as we currently have a backlog of comments that hasn't gone through the approval process yet.
(I'm sure your recent ones has been caught in that pile)

You should get an email informing you either way, if not then do get back in touch!

They must be working backwards through it as my laetst got accepted first =]

I think the only backend is them and they're talking out of it. I think to be honest they've strung us along enough. I feel bitterly disapponted i thought we could have all got a little extra pennies a month.
