A previous update from writersshare indicated that this had already been built and was undergoing testing. Geordie Joe, can you recall this update also ?

Can't recall the exact words, but I know this was requested and we were told it was coming.

When the email stats came out I thought it was just a temporary measure into the site was back up again.

I can confirm that Chollita will be paid as we have already investigated and found her comments were incorrectly rejected.

Hi everyone.

We have been away from this forum for a while due to our account being banned by the forum moderators.
.

Why did the mods ban WS? No wonder we thought they'd gone quiet!

Well done! Is it all short stories that you've had published? I've earned quite a bit since last year with writing reader's letters with photos etc. I recently earned £15 from That's Life for telling them about my husband's disreputable vest which he's had since he was 17 (he's now 60) - I only knew the letter had been published when hubs was serving a customer at the shop where he works and he couldn't understand why she asked him if he was wearing his 'famous' vest that day and went away cackling! I had to own up to what I'd done! :D

I've been writing short stories on and off for years but only plucked up the courage to send a couple off at the beginning of this year. Neither was accepted but at least I tried!

Hi there,

To everybody that has an issue with the payments / rejected comments can you please email W:S at writersshare@googlemail.co.uk. We will give you a ticket ID so we can log the dispute internally and give you a link to a google docs spreadsheet. On this spreadsheet please fill in your ticket id, how much you have been paid and what the dispute is regarding.

This should speed up the process of sending you your money.

I sent a PM to WS via MSE and then I noticed the above posting so I sent an email - but it just bounced back even though I used the link from the post.

That only is a good story Lou,

it is mainly short storys, a few letters and the odd longer piece.

i look at as the more rejections i get the closer i am to getting accepted, you have done well though.:T

Took me about 2 years to get my first one, its also worth trying all the publications as what one fiction editor likes another doesn'!, i sent one in particular loads of times as i knew it was good:D
it did get accepted after a while
