Vodafone sales pitch
We cancelled our contractas it had come to an end and then the phone calls started. As they were coming in during work hours I could not take them and I clocked up about 8 calls from them yesterday. My wife got nearly 10 calls and this was after emailing them telling them not to contact us by phone.
Anyway charming young man offered us a Sim only 12 month contract deal for £15 with 500 minutes and 100 texts. Told him we were not interested in a 12 montn contract although he kept insisting that it was a great deal. he then chucked in a hone but we still said no and at that point his attitude totally changed and the phone was virtually slammed down on me. We are probably going to go with Virgin as 300 minutes pay monthly sim only and no contract!

Sim only contract in the Vodafone stores are only 1 month rolling contracts. I think it's strange that they are offering it on a 12 month but then stores are different to the people on the phone.March Wins

That's Vodafone all over, they'll offer you what they SAY is a good deal (and if you don't agree they'll talk to you like you've just been lobotomised), thenif you mention the company you're moving to, they'll fabricate a load of lies abut them, and if all else fails, they'll throw the rattle out of the pram.
They are a terrible company.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
my OH had the same thing happen TWICE!! First time he rang up, the guy said they couldn't do the deal and ask him to go to O2 and hang up.
Second time, they rang while my OH was driving and ask him to ring back, but the guy just keep talking. Again, the guy said they couldn't match the price plan with O2, change his attitude, ask my OH to go for O2 and hang up.
Been with vodafone 4 years, and this year, their customers services are horrible!0
