I don't think Sainsbury's would deliberately overprice/overcharge, and even if they did they certainly wouldn't have anything documented for us all to look at.

I thought it would be impossiable for them to overcharge, aren't all their prices fixed

Seriously, if they do overcharge you get the difference and that's it.0 -
:rotfl: LMFAO:rotfl: ....an overpriced/overcharge policy is the policy outlining how they will deal with the situation should you be overcharged at the till!! I.e if the till price is more than the shelf price.
For example: Tesco have an "if it doesn't add up" policy where by they currently refund you double the difference back. Asda are meant to (used to?) refund the difference and then give you a £2 gift card as well. Sainsburys used to do double the difference back but i'm trying to establish if this is still the case.Good Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!

I only have deliverys but usually find i pay less than i thought, some items on buy one get one free only wanted one but got two , blanched and froze extra carrots last week. In shop last week paid more than internet but difference refunded without fuss.
One tip
missing items on delivery phone them they will refund send voucher(more than items) or send driver specially with the missing item0 -
What policy? My experience is if you spot an error or overharge at the til you have to spend more time and go to the "customer services" counter to get your money back only - with no extra.0

Things must have changed as Tesco and Asda only refunded the difference everytime I have been over charged.0

Tesco's policy to is still the same. I was overcharged there yesterday and got double the difference back, I was amazed they did this as didn't know this was their policy.0
