Transferring an ISA query?

Hi all

I want to transfer my ISA from one provider to another. I have already put the maximum £3000 in for this current tax year and my ISA is currently an instant access account (as is the one I want to transfer to)

My question is do I have to transfer the ISA before the 6th April? I keep seeing adverts telling me the deadline is running out but I'm not sure if thats for paying in only.

Any clarification appreciated.

thanks

You should be able to transfer your current ISA at any time, just check that the one you have has no transfer out penalties and the ISA you want accepts transfers in and away you go.

The adverts are aimed at people who have not subscribed any or their full allocation to an ISA this tax year.

Absent any conditions on the accounts (loss of interest without notice e.g.) it doesn't matter.

That tag is aimed at people who haven't fully subscribed this year. This does not apply to you.
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries
