Emergency kit for weddings...

Am I the only one that is sad enough to be putting one together?

So far I have:
Set of safetypins
needle and white thread
spare set of stockings
babywipes
mini hairspray
cooling foot spray
perfume - mini of my favourite perfume
instant icepack (in case of twisted ankles... I'm paranoid ok!)
pain killers
proplus (these will be VERY needed as the day wears on!)
mini deodorant

think that's all I have for now...

I have all of that plus:

Emery board (in case of nail disasters!)
    Plasters
    Mints
    Small bottle of water
    Hair Grips/Pins
Little Mirror (to see the back of my hair in a big mirror incase it needs touching up)
Small chocolate or cereal bar for if I'm too nervous/excited to eat then suddenly decide I'm hungry.
    Redness reducing eyedrops
    Spare Earring Backs
Clear nail varnish (for any runs in the spare pair of stockings lol)
Masking tape (for emergency hem fixing)
List of all supplier contact details

There are more things, but my list is at home so these are what I can remember! We will be so well prepared for any situation!

    Other websites also suggest:

    Bach Rescue Remedy
Baby Powder (for cleaning spillages on white dress)
Antacid or something for upset tummies
    Rennie or something for indigestion
    Compeed patches for blisters
    Sanitary towels/Tampax just in case

Good ideas ladies, don't think I have anything to add apart from maybe comfy shoes in case wedding shoes finally get the better of you! A friend of mine had her trainers on under her dress by the evening.
Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!

What a good thread.... at a wedding last year my friend had some moist wipes made by Vanish.

I'm gonna have some of these with me on my big day. I'm wearing white so any accidents can (hopefully) be erased by these wipes.

Also, you know the hand wash pumps that don't need water to wash with (hospital type, you can buy them in the supermarket) I'm gonna have one of these just in case I get a bit hot under the pits as it will clean any nasty niffs rather than masking them with deodorant x

My advice for this would be.....don't bother. I intended doing one of these, and did carry a few things with me but in the end I only used the lip gloss! I know that it sounds like a really good and practical idea, but its really one more unnecessary thing to worry about - I even wish that I hadn't bothered with a handbag at all.....it just got in the way.

My dress got slightly damaged and my bustle didn't work properly, but to be honest the last thing I thought about on the day was stopping for "repairs" - believe me when I say that you'll be so busy enjoying yourself that the day will just fly by and you'll wonder where the time went!

Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.
