Time to hit the comparison sites again. I have used S&SE for several years as they have always been the cheapest for me (3-bedroom semi-detached house, dual-fuel).0

Does anybody know when the comparison sites will be updated to show these new prices?Steve0

being with Atlantic since MAY 2003 and very happy even after SSE take over customer service very good and the good thing is the yearly credit payment for my gas/elec.
However looks like time to change but to whom ?Ebic?? but i see they also use SSE.
Any ideas?0 -
Just for info, the Atlantic site has now been fully updated with the new prices with a date of 20 march,so I presume new customers will be signed up for the new price as it takes 6 weeks to switch.
Also the energyhelpline comparison site is now showing the new prices, as a result Scottish and Southern companies have gone down the list!0 -
Hi everyone....a newbie here, I have been waiting for the price hikes from the gas and electric companies, and thinking they were all done, swapped via uswitch to Atlantic, who I now discover hadn't raised their prices at all, and i joined just in time for them to announce it!! .
You can tell i am new to this money saving lark!!
Does anyone have any advice for me, is it too late for me to swap again?
Pleeeaaaasse help:o0 -
As far as I know you can swap when and as often as you like unless there is a minimum contract term.Steve0

I will check the very little post that i have from them, the changeover was only yesterday. Hope you are right. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Thank you.0 -
Just spoken to Ebico (SSE customer service) and they have advised that at this moment Ebico have made no announcement at all regarding price increases.
The advior also said that despite SSE prices increasing, Ebico are a completely seperate company, and are in no way tied to SSE in respect to pricing.
So far then good news for Ebico customers.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.

Uswitch has already been updated. Atlantic were the cheapest for me but not any longer. Npower are now the cheapest & I'm already with them. I almost swapped to Atlantic a few weeks ago so I'm glad that I didn't.0
