What happens when you switch?

Options
What actually happens? Never done it before. What if the new supplier is not there at the same time the old one is cut, you stay without electricity for a day!? :rotfl:

  • Gas or electricity does not get cut off. It's your suppliers that change; and the switch is done without any switch being turned off, so you don't even notice when the switch takes place. Does this make 'switching' more attractive to u?

Zip zilch nada! Except there is a date where one supplier ceases to bill you (in theory) and another one starts to bill you - usually there is a meter reading debate so if you are asked by either supplier - old or new to provide readings on a certain date - make sure you do!

No worries at all, we've changed 3 times and never come across any troubles in any way.
