Hi all, Just got a quick one for you. If a landlord was to make a deduction from a deposit and no inventory was ever made, I am led to believe that this would not stand up in court as there's no proof of the condition of the property prior to the tenants moving in. Appreciate it probably wasn't intentional but you can see that, unfortunately, other posters took your query on rather than the OPs, so the thread was "effectively highjacked" and it can become confusing to everyone if there are 2 separate posters looking for answers to their own particular set-up within the same thread. IMO it would have been better to either just watch for responses to Chris' post or start a separate thread of your own
