Problems with Nokia 6610i and Orange (Help)

My 6610i has started to crash when i am creating texts and now while it is idle. I rang Orange about this and they said it is a fault with these phones but they wont replace it as the new one will do the same. i'm halfway through my yearly contract and they wont upgrade me either. they also said my insurance with them will not cover this. They more or less told me that it is just tough luck even though i can't text now. Any ideas anyone ?

go to https://www.nokia.co.uk and search for the nearest nokia service centre to you. take it there (if close) and they will either repair it or replace it (if still in warrantee ) if no service centre near you contact Nokia (email/telephone) and ask them what your options are.

I do know that if you take it to a service centre they will sort it for you...there used to be one close to where I live and I'd taken a good few phones there which had problems and they sorted them all free of charge as they were still in warrantee
