How do you find out the insurance groups?
I wouldn't mind finding out and using it for the new car!8,000 / 10,000 saved. Another 2,000 by April 2011!0 -
You don't need to know insurance groups, and they aren't very relevant any more because different insurers rank different cars differently!
All you need to do is use confused.com or something like that to price up the insurance for any car you are thinking, even vaguely, of buying. And then don't buy something you can't afford to insure.

go and do your pass plus ( i know its a pain) but it costs about £120. but you will get 30% off your insurance minimum.0

Ive been there!
Some brokers that you might want to try which were good for me when I was a lad are Firebond and HIC.
Search for them for websites - hopefully they might be able to sort you out.0
