Three Coomplaints

Hello,

I've recently ordered a phone from three online and it's faulty. Their customer service staff are pretty useful and are refusing point blank to let me cancel the contract. Does anyone know of a complaints or contact number for three that might actually get you through to someone competent?

I've literally spent goes going round and round and have had enough!

Thanks,

benykeny

Why don't you ask about getting it repaired?

Well I was trying to do that, but spent hours being passed around from person to person. The replacement option requires me to be there when the courier delivers the phone (to pick up the old one) which isn't an option as I'm out 8-6 every day and I can't get the phone delivered to work.

I would have been happy to send back the phone separately, or take it to a shop, but they refused to do this, and the whole provess of discussing this went round and round in circles which has cost me a fair bit of money (an 0870 number from my old mobile for several hours).

When I originally phoned up, I HAD to test my sim in someone else's three phone, they wouldn't listen to anything otherwise. To me that seems really poor - what if I didn't know anyone with a three phone? This was just one of the stubling blocks.

    I've basically had enough

The T&C's state that you have 14 days to return the handset, that is if you haven't used it (so pretty much rules out most people). I would push to be able to take the phone instore and returned that way, I would first go to a store and get them to sort it out on your behalf rather consulting the call centres first

Sounds to me like you just want to get out of the contract - well this is not possible - they have the best return and repair services out of any of the mobile phone providers - it has won awards.

(I don't know much about it) but I wonder if you have a case under the Sale of Goods Act, they sent you a faulty product, and should therefore replace it. Or does the SOGA not cover contracts?

I have had so much contact with customer service with three its unbelievable through faulty Nokia's. If you ASK they are able to post you out a free post jiffy bag that simply needs taking to a post office. However in a lot of cases the handset is actually exchanged and you may end up with a refurbished handset........ beware!! and good luck
