This may have an obvious answer but I will ask anyway.
2 years ago I opened a mini isa which I have been contributing £100 per month into Unit Trusts. My understanding is that this represents a contribution towards my £4000 stocks and shares annual allowance?
Am I able to open another mini cash ISA with another provider and pay in £3000 cash this financial year without any tax repercussions?

If my understanding of your question is correct, then yes, you can open a mini cash ISA to accompany your mini stocks and shares ISA.I am a Chartered Financial Planner

If the ISA is indeed a mini-S&S ISA, then yes, you can open a mini-cash ISA with any of the providers.
If it's a maxi-S&S ISA, then you cannot.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
