Hi everyone- missed you all last night - my mother-in-law was rushed into hospital with heart problems just before start time. I tried to log in and get throught to Carlos, some may have heard me calling his name but I don't think he heard me. I emailed Carlos and Ellen but could not get a reply. Even went on to live call and their fantastic response was to email hboa***** who emailed back telling me to get intouch with Ellen and Carlos - aghhhh never ending circle. Have re-emailed Ellen and Carlos to see if it is still ok for me to continue training tonight - not holding out much hope as I know they are very strict about you attending all the training - hopefully though they will understand (surely unforeseen events like this must be taken into consideration?).icon9.gif

all being well I will 'speak' to you all tonight

Im really surprised that the training is going to last so long ! Your right it will be along 4 weeks. Also sometimes when Carlos suddenly asks you a question it can be hard sometimes hearing what he is saying

hee hee! just to remind you all that we now have to phone the original number and log into workbooth (got email from darby) tonight. Hope everyone checks their email before 7pm or they will be calling the wrong number and logging in via internet browser!! you gotta laugh!!
livvylou - i really felt for you. i know i felt odd not being able to get on the phone for the first hour so it must have been difficult for you.
auddel - sorry i got it wrong (i may still be wrong - are you the guy who made the coffee first or the lady who made the next one!)
so tonight we log into workbooth and do we then go to meeting place via firefox?? as you can probably tell i'm slightly confused lol.

I'm the guy that made the coffee first ( ok my wife did)

    Hi Guys,

Well Done to those of you who got this job!

I've just been laid off from my job, so I'm about to apply through the TeleTech site.

Just a couple of quick questions please, if I may -

1/ I have an Apple Mac computer. Do they accept Mac users?! Are any of you who got the job, also Mac users? It shouldn't be a problem, as its an Intel Mac, and I can run Windows XP (and so theoretically, also run TeleTech's software) on it through Parallels. Any help regarding this would be most appreciated, as I'd be gutted if i couldn't go for the job due to my having a Mac and not a P.C.

2 / Do they do a 'CRB' check? If so, which level, 'basic', 'standard' or 'enhanced'? I have a minor criminal record from years back, and I'm really hoping that it wouldn't count against me!

    Many Thanks,

    Leigh x

Hi Leigh, I am sure it says somewhere that Mac is not compatible, but I also think I read somewhere on the other forum that someone has a Mac and is using it - perhaps some of the other forum posters will advice you better.
Regarding the 'CRB' check, they do do one but I am not sure at which level. Is it not the case that you do not have to disclose a criminal record after 6 years? - again someone better informed than me will be on soon to advise.
Basically there was not much point in me replying to you was there, lol, as I know nothing:rotfl:

    Leigh 73 and this
WorkBooth™ will not run on a MAC computer and they are not supported by TeleTech@Home.
but as I say, I am sure someone did say they were using a Mac
