Blackberry deals

Options
I've just come to the end of a cashback deal with Mobileshop (been very impressed with them by the way: even when I missed the dates of a claim, they gave me the money).

However, even though they were good, I'm a bit wary of going for another cashback website deal as a couple have gone bust - but that means a big jump in mobile bills.

Last year, I got 500mins and 500 texts with Orange for £35/month - £7/month after cashback.

This year, I'm looking for a similar deal, but also with Blackberry/similar and email deal.

Orange retentions offered me 600 mins, unlimited text and Blackberry package for £27 a month - 18 month contract. I think if I could beat the deal they'd match it - but I'm not having much luck.

Anyone know of a good Blackberry (or other) mobile deals around? I'd move from Orange if necessary, though all my family are on Orange so that can work out cheaper.

Thanks very much for your help!

    anyone able to help?!
  • I went direct with O2, got a 12 month deal, 200 mins & 400 texts for £30 p/m + £35 cashbach via quidco. O2 online is definately worth a look.

thank you.. does that include the internet time?
  • no, i have a pay as you go internet deal £2.50 per m.b i think, don't use a lot. Unlimited is £10 per month, I liked O2 because they offer 12 months as well, opposed to 18.
  • Orange seem to do 6mb internet time as part of their blackberry package.

Does anyone know if this is a lot? Or enough for general email / web browsing?

I'm after a blackberryy 8120 as cheap as possible! Orange contract running out next month.

    6mb is nothing.

    6Gb would be reasonable.

^because blackberry compress all the data sent to the device its actually very difficult for a normal user to go over 6mb!
on a normal handset 6mb wouldnt be much on a blackberry its more than enough for 99% of people (according to the blackberry rep so judge whether or not you want to believe him) but i have never seen a customer go over
