Which Broadband

Hi

I am finally venturing into the broadband world. I have checked various websites and cant decide whether to go with Freedom2surf or BT. We are already with BT for dial up and just seems easy to upgrade but we would be tied to a 12 month contract. Freedom2suft has got very good reviews but if we dont go for a 12 month contract would hve set up charges of possible £80.

I would be a light user as we only use internet for emails, maybe 1hr surfing a day and my sons homework.

Dont mind paying set up charge if we get good speed and service and I am wary of 12month contracts with the speed things are changing with broadband. Is anyone out there with any of these companies? what has you experience been with them?

Any other suggestions welcomed.

Thanks

Bulldog are one of the top complained about ISPs in the UK at the moment. Not only bad customer services, but people stuck without telephone/internet from them.

I'm not with Freedom2surf (I use Zen), but I've read a few times in articles recently that they offer very good customer service/reliability.

I use BT ADSL I think the light user prices start from £10.00 Go to http://www.bt.com to find out more. BT I have found to be the all round best from customer service to prices. Allot of the other providers may be a bit cheaper but BT's the customer service is the best and you don't get charged the earth to call them it's an 0800 number.
