A quick one, "bahamas bananas" bananas sliced into an ovenproof dish, sprinkle with a little dark rum and sprinkle with brown sugar. Into the oven till it all melts and soaks in. Serve with cream ice cream.

my dd absolutely loves, like me, natural fat free yogurt (i use onken) with honey drizzled on top. ive swapped from the cheap honey to a more expensive one but it really is a lot better. i also add pineapple chunks or peach slice from a tin. but suppose you could add any fruit you like. xx

when my daughter was the same age as your little one her favourite thing was fruit sponge it really easy and simple to make i was not an oser then but you can change it to os by using frsh fruit and making your own sponge mix.

    Fruit sponge
    1 tin of apples
    1 sponge mix
    small amount of sugar

all you do is place the apples in the bottom of a cake tin with a little bit of sugar sprinkled on top.
then make the sponge mix as directions on pack pour ontop then cook in the oven till golden.
its so yummy and works for all types of fruit i did a summer berries one the other day and it disappeared in seconds.
    hope this helps

My grandma used to make this - we knew it as Upside Down Pudding - and she'd use pineapple, sometimes with a glace cherry in the middle if the pineapple was in rings. It was lovely warm, but I preferred it cold as the syrupy edges went crunchy then

    :)

My favourite winter pudding has to be cake in custard. Just take any cake, slice it up, place in the bottom of an oven dish and cover with custard and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Leave it to stand for a while so the custard can soak in, then bung it in the oven for half a hour.

It works best with slightly stale cake (fresh/soft cake tends to float in the custard), so is perfect for using up 'Whoops' cakes.

In the summer, the boys and I just tend to chop up whatever's in the fruit bowl (banana, peach, strawberry etc) and cover it in yogurt and/or ice cream

    :)

Slimming World special - but enjoyable by all

1 cup pudding rice (cooked!) mixed with a toffee mullerlight yoghurt and a vanilla mullerlight yoghurt (with sweetner to taste).

    Catt xx

Has anyone tried the Jamie hot cross bun recipe i am doing it tonight but with jam instead of marmalade, just wondering how long i leave it to soak and does it matter i am using Morisons own brand ready made custard as opposed to sainsburys lol
