Glad to be of service Sleepy.

Now if you had photoshop or something similar you could manipulate photos too and sell the resulting pictures. Its an idea that I saw on https://www.bbact.org.uk (blind business association charitable trust) because there is a chap in Bham who is registered blind and yet he produces these fantastic pictures.
  • I run a small business of flower photo cards, which is gradually growing.
Craft fairs are a great way of getting your name known...( I would do more of these if I could) I find this difficult, so I am very fortunate that I have the help of my husband who calls himself the tea boy and runner etc... :0) I also write! Got some exciting news about that recently :0)

I have to pace myself and as you can probably tell my hours are all over the place as don't sleep well, so I 'create' & 'work' varying to how I am.
The difficulty I find is that working from home ( and we are in a one bedroom flat! Could do with more space) is that it can take over if you are not careful. As my priorities had to change with my disability I had to re look at what I could do rather than what I couldn't...if that makes sense..and I chose something that I had real interest and passion in...

So the questions are - what do you enjoy doing?
    - could you turn any of those things into a business?

When you are passionate about something then it certainly helps and people see that in you :0)

  • There is a lot of help for disabled people who want to go into self employment. I run a blog called Disability Means Business which informs entrepreneurs on the support available. There is categories on grants, Access to Work and government schemes designed to financially support you until your business takes off.
  • Thank you so much jonjon10 for your suggestion..
I looked at your blog and will follow it - really useful!
