Thats great news... now i sit and wait for my tickets..if they dont arrive i will be onto my bank.... i used a visa debit card and from the article above it looks like im covered if they dont send me any tickets....

I will never be trusting getmetickets.com again thats for sure....

Im not sure why google should allow them to bid on adwords if they constantly dont actually come up with the tickets.... i bet 99% of their business is gained from their adwords account... simple way to stop them would be for google ban them....

The DTI seem to be closing down more and more rip-off firms using compulsory winding up orders. A few weeks ago they closed down Cavendish Black who were selling advertising space in non-existent magazines and then sending in the heavy mob when people refused to pay.

I should like to see the face of that smirking Michael Rangos (Getmetickets boss) now that his nice little earner has been closed down. I wonder if he will have the nerve to appear on Watchdog again?

I had heard all of the bad press about getmetickets but unforunately my husband hadnt!

For christmas I opened from him 2 x tickets from getmetickets to see James Blunt in Manchester next week.

I was just about to book hotel last night and thought would just check on the ticket website when we should expect them - then on the site I saw the note from the receivers.

He paid £170 by visa debt - I hope hope hope we can get this back some way.

I have emailed the address provided for enquiries and will ring the number today too
