    hi Rob,

i discussed at great lengths with the IP and CCCS what other options i had with selling house privately etc and clearing debts that way, but as it would be a rediculous amount to pay back and an un-reasonable time frame they all felt i would be declined an IVA. However if i go BR and pay for the IPA - which i may or may not have to, then i will only pay 50% off surplus income to the IVA if i have more than £100 free.

(EDIT -->) Also i have a Basic bank account with Barclays and they and the CO-OP are the only two banks that will allow you to have bank accounts while BR, so i wont need to cancel account, My OR will contact bank after BR to advise so account unfrozen immeadiately for payments etc.

With regards to the rental, as long as i rent before declaring BR and there is nothing in the Tenancy aggreement on BR then there is no problem. I do not legally have to tell any prospective landlord my intentions as long as i can pay deposit and rent - and as long as employer references are suitable (which i know they will be).

i am working on my pre BR SOA and will post that along with proposed one for renting after, which wont include the loan payments etc.

Thanks for the info Rob. I will keep you informed how things are going.

    Dave
