Hullo everyone!
I haven't been here for ages! Have not been doing very well on the ol' style money saving.
Budgeting gone out the window, menu planning non existent, bought some ready meals had lots of wine etc etc.
Not sure if its the hassle of still not having a kitchen, being the summer (or summer hols with kids now) etc etc
Have felt really bad about it so have not even been lurking here have had to avoid reading any posts on ol' style as I felt so bad!!
BUT............... I have missed you all!!
Plus I am trying to get it all together and have even done a menu plan this week again!!
Hope you are all ok and would love to hear all your condensed top tips from the last couple of months while I roamed MSE wilderness!!!
Looking forward to catching up with youall

Hiya

Welcome back!
Condensed top tips...?
We get a mention in the newsletter every week now. To see all the most recent Old Style Chat Tips of the Week:-
We've lumped the monthly Pin Money and Grocery Challenge stickies into a single Challenges one and colected more stuff together into a single Indexes sticky. I'm sure you'll find them easily enough, being an old hand - but to make it that bit quicker...
You can find them in our "Indexed Collections" and our "Monthly Challenges" stickies at the top of the forum listing, or you can follow the clue in my signature any time you see it or...
..you can use the Indexed Collections link in the Blue Bar at the top of every page which looks something like this:-
And then there's a new growing collection of the MEGA Index sticky which now has almost a thousand of our threads in it to make absolutely everything easy to find ...:)
You can't be more than three or four hundred threads behind us all - I'm sure you'll catch up in no time

I'm sure there's a "no shame, no blame" philosophy in operation here, isn't there? I'm a newbie, but one of the reasons I'm loving it here so much is that there is such a positive and kind atmosphere :j0

Yep. Everybody slips at times, everybody needs a helping hand. We've all been there so yeah - no blame no shame

I slipped big style last month, this month I feel a little more settled with life and able to get back to things properly. Coming here and even reading what people write sometimes give me the impetus to get cracking again. It's like Flylady but gentler
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

What on earth is Flylady????
Edit: Just googled for it. The site I looked at first has links for cheap Clarins with free p&p for those who use it ---> HereHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. This is the actual site but do NOT sign up for the e-mails. Buy the book from Amazon instead. Otherwise you will be snowed under with an avalanche of e-mails!!

Actually I must confess to being a big Flylady fan. She does emphasise "babysteps", and decluttering is a big part of it, which I find quite inspiring. I agree with moggins about signing up though, you get an awful lot of emails every day!0

Baby steps and then has an opening page half a mile long. Hm... she needs indexing
