Barclaycard is dealt with by back office functionality in Mumbai so knowing them, I would of expected mis-wording and i'm far from surprised. It is more then likely to be genuine-othewise it's too much of a co-incidence.
I think that you could of done without the worry in the meantime though you poor thing!
Bloody Barclaycard...tut!Loan-£3600 only 24 months of payments to go!!!
