I'm actually very impressed with the Leon Jackson album, i wasn't expecting it to be any good, but its alright. The album reminds me of the Michael Buble album, and he's another of my fav artists!

I have listed it on Amazon, and within 10 minutes, its sold. Just packaging it up now to send tomorrow! Another thing to add to my things to do tomorrow lol.

Well, today has been a busy one. I had a well deserved day off, but i spent the whole day cleaning my bedroom, and i LOVED it. I sorted through my wardrobes, cupboards, drawers, and i have 3 sack full of clothes to get rid off  i sorted them into piles, charity pile and junk pile. In the end i had 2 charity bags and 1 junk bag. I had clothes still in my cupboard that i've not worn for years, i know i never liked getting rid of things, but i didn't realise i was that mad and never got rid of anything.

I also sorted out all my paperwork, its all been nicely filed away properly now and i am up to date with everything, and boy it feels good. Whilst i was going through my stuff i found an invite from tns shopping monitor. Its months old, and i never got around to doing it, but i have filled in the application online, so now just waiting for the scanner now. The first shopping info i send i will receive a £10 voucher :j

Just started to watch Sex and the City movie, i watched it a few months ago at the cinema and i cried heaps, so decided to buy it the other day, and it arrived today - yay!!!! OH is out tonight at some poker night, so a night in for me to watch the girly flick and have a little cry again :o

Also, today has been a NSD!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!

The TNS thing is good, doing the scanning is fun my other half loves doing it lol!

My charity shop takes junk clothes as we get money for the scraps so might be worthwhile checking if yours does too :)
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month

Yeah my OH loves scanning too, he used to love it when we went to Waitrose and used the scanner machines they to scan as we did our shopping. So he's going to love this little scanning device lol.

I didn't know than Dawn, I will have to check that out, don't want to bin them if charities can make use.

I wish Tuesday would hurry up. I want to work out my budget for November. I go on holiday in a week, so need to work out how much extra i can pay off the horrible debt.

    Hurry up Tuesday!!!!

I'm aiming for a no spend weekend, i only have £10 to spend and £5 of that is for travel to work on Monday. I must hide the credit card when we go to see my friend in Essex on Sunday and go IKEA - i hate Ikea on a weekend.

Will pay in my £32 cheque tomorrow from Mazumamobile.

    Points i have:

    Boots points - £13.50 worth
    Onepoll - £4.45
    Shopandscan - 1000 points
    Tesco clubcard - 145 points

Still not started lightspeed yet! Looking forward to getting my scanner to earn some more points.

Right, bed time for me i think.

    Hi Hayley,

I'm a newbie on this site- been a bit of a lurker through all the threads, but I've kept reading yours regularly.

I was just wondering (if you don't mind answering that is lol), is there anything you've had to give up since you started your plan that has been really hard? Mine's such a stupid one- diet coke! I waste so much money on it- guess it probably explains why I'm still awake at 3:15am haha!

Anyway, you sound like you're doing really well :T - keep it up, I need inspiration!

    Hi Natalie,

    Thank you for your post.

Mine is also a silly one, i've had to give up buying 3-5 magazines a week. I now stick to the one a week, and its the cheapest out the lot, 80p. I've also given up buying my lunch everyday, so thats saving me £5 a day. To be honest, i've not really given up a lot, i find it to hard to give things up, so i've just stopped buying as much. Clothes is another big one, but i still treat myself every now and again, so not really given up.

Good luck with your DFW journey, starting a diary is a good way to keep track of yourself.

Its that time again, update time :p

I was sooo good this weekend, i managed a whole weekend spending only £4.90  thats great for me.

It was payday yesterday, and i was shocked, but VERY happy to see i got my £60 rebate this month. I checked my bank the day of payday and couldn't believe how much extra i got, some was due to overtime, but it was great to get that little bit extra, especially when your not expecting it, and just thought you had been forgotten about and wasn't ever going to get the rebate.

I bought the holiday insurance via Pigsback last night, i had 978 points, so the extra 500 points i got from the insruance meant i could order another £10 boots voucher - yey!!! I thought i was going to have to wait months for another, them 5p clicks are few and far between now - boohoo!!! So when that comes, i will have £20 in boots vouchers. I'm hoping the voucher arrives by the 13th November as i;d like to use it at the Boots Christmas event. I missed the last one, so wanted to go to the next one on the 13th.

I received my shop and scan device today, i'm just going through how to work it. Just need to scan the barcode to get the £10 reward, then its time to start shopping with it :j

OH MY GOD, how cold is it - brrrrr!!!

5 more sleeps than i'm off to Las Vegas - and i cannot wait!!!!! This cold weather is getting to me a little.

Just ordered my Ugg boots, i used a code and manage to get them for £100 from shudoo. I hope they get here before the weekend!!!!
