Crikey there aren't many chaps would venture into this area, but I am enjoying what Ted has to say here!

'Intimate body cavities' :rotfl:
And should I e mail them to tell them they spelt 'lose' wrong? Loose has entirely different connotations! :rotfl:
Having used a diaphragm for years with no problem, I can safely say that I would not like to attempt to get that thing back from there!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Hi Guys and former contributers to this thread.
i need to give you all a Huge thanks, for you saved me from near disaster some weeks ago.
I recently began seeing a guy who lives over 200 miles away, every weekend in three is precious, so when my period arrived five days late, (Wednesday before our planned weekend), I panicked and felt very fed up, thinking what a waste of expense etc and how awful the weekend would be.
Fortunately, I stumbled over this thread, and thought it would be a good 'plan b', so decided to take the plunge (so to speak) and ordered some Gynotex.
They were expensive for what they are - just round discs of sponge, which can be bought wet and ready for use, or dry and need to be dampened before use.
I nervously explained the situation to BF, and set about preparing myself. I was nervous (and I think he was a bit too), but I am pleased to report that every thing was absolutely fine.... and I do mean fine!
The weekend was fab, and there were no embarrasing things to deal with.
Removal wasn's as easy as it was suggested, it did take a couple of attempts, and I certainly wouldnt use these as a tampon for the modern busy woman on a daily basis, but for you ladies out there who find themselves in a similar situation, be brave and try it for yourselves. I thought it was well worth it.
Hope this helps somebody out there.

ohhhhh.... so THAT's what they're for
I remember this thread and wondered at the time who would spend that amount of money on such a strange item but when you put it like that then I can understand
I once saw a programme about *whispers* prostitutes  who used a small peice of normal sponge for the same reason. :money:Just run, run and keep on running!0
