Just to let you know I bought one of the T-Mobile phones over t'internet. Got it home, turned it on and guess what......................
 No Reception.
Spoke with customer services as I thought the phone just hadn't switched itself on, and was advised to send it back as I was in a dead area (with regard to phone signal that is, not a graveyard or anything like that).
Luckilybecause I'd bought it over the internet I was able to invoke the DSR (Distance Selling Regulations) fairly promptly and get it sent back.
Cheers,

Thinking of switching from 3 & orange to T-Mobile Flext20 £15 a month contract.
Anyone know if their coverage is any good in the Newtownabby/North Belfast area?
Are they worse than 3 & Orange? Was also considering the 3 £15 a month contract, undecided.
Any opinions?

Have a look at this link for coverage in your area:
http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/services/coverage/street-check/?ref=quick
Personally I was with T mobile for a year and couldn't wait to get rid of them.
I'll move your query over to the mobiles board if you can't get the answers you want here.

Thanks!
Have looked at that on thier site and gives 3 bars for coverage. But Orange gave me 99% coverage for my house and its awful! Hence why im cautious about their coverage ratings on their sites.
Will check out the other board too.

Don't!
I got rid of T mobile as well
Their coverage of some parts of NI is substandard0 -
Hubby is coming to the end of an 18 month contract with T-mobile (just so he could get a free x-box 360), awful trying to get a signal that is any good. I am with Orange and they are 90% better in my opinion. We were both with Vodafone before and never had a problem with signal strength.
We are in main UK but just wanted to let you know anyway, as they are awful in our area.0 -
Just found this old thread on T Mobile for you to have a read at:

Or you can have a look at all the coverage threads for NI:

I've found T mobile to be great though I live in the Greater Belfast Area. I think if you check their website you can put in the post codes for coverage & if its not as good as they say you can return the phone & get your money back.0
